Customer Review: Works As Intended
I used this remote to take self portraits, family portraits and pictures of me and my wife on trips when nobody was there to “snap” our photo while standing on the beach. It’s small enough to hide in your hand or slip into your pocket before the shutter goes off. There’s been a few times I had to press it more than once because of the infrared, but that’s expected. I’ve never been further than 15 feet so I can’t tell you the longest range is.

I purchased this T-mount to attach my newly purchased Canon Rebel Xsi to a Bausch and Lomb Discoverer 60mm Telescope. With the T-mount attached to my camera, and a t-adapter attached to the scope, I have a 1000-4000mm lens that works great for moon photos and animal pictures. It took me a little while to adjust the camera settings to fit the telescope, but after a couple nights of changing the settings, I got some pretty nice moon shots. This T-mount is simple, easy to use, and connects easily to the scope with an additional T-adapter. The mount seems strong and sturdy; my camera feels securely connected to the telescope.

Once you go SlR you’ll never go back. I got other point and shoot cameras, but never used them after I bought my SLR canon xti. The other day, I ran out of battery and I tried to used a point and shoot to get some picture of some abandoned kitties I found. Then I realized that once you get used to your SLR, you’ll find p&s a nuisance. And let’s not get into picture quality and pixels.

I have medium size hands and this camera fits nicely. I like the larger fonts and LCD screen, being 58 my eyes need a little help . The settings are easy to find and change. The battery life is great, you can shoot all day long. Using a lens with IS cuts it down a little. I like all of the adjustments for the picture styles, you can change the contrast, saturation, sharpness or color tone. You can even make your personal settings and save them. For being the cheapest Canon DSLR this is a great camera. I have three Canon digitals the G3, 300D, and 400D and I like them all.
